Aesthetic treatments

Aesthetic treatments comprise all medical procedures that are aimed at improving the physical appearance and satisfaction of the patient, using non-invasive to minimally invasive cosmetic procedures.

Basic cataract surgery

Basic cataract surgery involves replacing the clouded lens in the eye with an artificial one to improve vision.

Botox injections

Botox (Botulinum toxin) injections relax the muscles in your face to smooth out lines and wrinkles, such as crow’s feet and frown lines.

Corneal treatments

Treatment is tailored to the individual disease and the individual patient. Treatments might include medications, laser treatment, or surgery, depending on the condition.

Eyelid surgery

Eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) is cosmetic surgery to remove excess skin or fat from the eyelids. The aim is to improve hooded or drooping eyelids or eye bags.

Filtration surgery

Filtration surgery (trabeculectomy), is the most common surgery performed to reduce internal eye pressure.

Glaucoma surgery

Glaucoma surgery involves either laser treatment or making a cut in the eye to reduce the intraocular pressure.

Implantable collamer lenses (ICLs)

Implantable collamer lenses are a type of refractive procedure to help correct the most common visual problem, myopia. Simply put, it is a removable lens implant that is a great alternative to LASIK and other refractive procedures.

LASIK

LASIK (laser-assisted in situ keratomileuses) is the most commonly performed laser eye surgery to treat myopia (near-sightedness), hyperopia (far-sightedness) and astigmatism.

Laser blended vision

Laser blended vision is a treatment for people who have an age-related need for reading glasses, known as presbyopia.

Laser refractive cataract surgery

Laser refractive cataract surgery is an advanced type of cataract surgery that uses femtosecond laser technology to bring a new level of precision and accuracy to specific steps in cataract surgery that traditionally have been performed with hand-held surgical tools.

Refractive lens exchange

Refractive lens exchange surgery is the same process as cataract surgery. It involves removing your eye’s natural lens and replacing it with either a monofocal lens or multifocal lens to help you achieve the best visual outcome for your lifestyle.

Optical treatments

Optical treatments such as binocular therapy can help individuals develop normal coordination and teamwork of the two eyes (binocular vision).

PRK

PRK, Photorefractive Keratectomy, is a type of laser eye surgery which can be a great vision correction alternative if your corneas are too thin to perform LASIK.

Premium cataract surgery

Premium cataract surgery not only removes cataracts but alleviates the need for glasses with premium lens options.

Retina treatments

Depending on the cause of the retinal disease, we may use laser treatments, freezing, injections or surgery. We typically perform injections for patients who have age-related macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. We can perform argon laser treatments for retinal holes or tears. Patients with retinal detachments, vitreous hemorrhages and floaters can benefit from injections inside the eye.

Selective laser trabeculoplasty (SLT)

Selective laser trabeculoplasty, or SLT, is a form of laser surgery that is used to lower intraocular pressure in glaucoma.
