I’m Dr. Ben Chotiner. I’m the Founder and Medical Director at Memorial Eye Institute.

I completed my ophthalmology residency and fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh. Pitt was one of the earliest institutions in the country to perform modern small incision cataract and lens implant surgery. I was privileged to be the first eye surgeon in Central Pennsylvania to offer this technique to our patients.

I have performed literally thousands of cataract and lens implant surgery procedures.

Additionally, I was the first eye surgeon in Central Pennsylvania to perform laser vision correction surgery, now commonly known as LASIK.

We at Memorial Eye Institute are considered to be the leading and most experienced laser vision correction facility in Central Pennsylvania.
