How long does premium cataract surgery take?

The refractive cataract surgery itself is a quick procedure, usually taking less than 15 minutes.

Before the surgery, we spend some time in the preoperative area, getting you ready. We apply eye drops to dilate your eye, you will meet the anesthesiologist, and we’ll start your IV.

After the surgery, there is a 30 minute period during which nurses will go over your post-operative instructions. They will also give you a drink or bite to eat before going home with a friend or family member.

If you’re really serious about clear vision and reducing or eliminating your dependence on corrective eyewear, then this is the ideal next step. Not only will it give you the certainty you need regarding the best treatment for you, but it’s also free.
