Qualifications

Dr. Levin is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of both the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Levin specializes in cataract, refractive and glaucoma surgery, and general ophthalmology.

Dr. Levin attended Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD, where he graduated with honors. He then completed a two year post baccalaureate research fellowship at The National Institute of Health in Bethesda, MD, under the direction of the late Nobel Laureate, Dr. Marshall Nirenberg. He received his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and was awarded the Merck Medical Book Award for academic excellence. He completed his internship at Tulane University Hospital and his Ophthalmology residency at the Krieger Eye Institute at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, MD, where he served as Chief Resident and was honored for his excellence in patient care.

Dr. Levin has published numerous scientific papers and presented at regional, national and international meetings.

Outside the office, Dr. Levin enjoys family time with his wife and three children. He is a soccer fan and enjoys a good game of trivia. As an electric car enthusiast, he is a member of a regional electric car club. During the winter months, he and his family enjoy skiing.
