Salary: $35-40K per year

TRAINING

Memorial Eye Institute will provide training in the following areas:

• Product knowledge
• Clinical systems
• Standard operating procedures
• Customer service skills and practices

MAIN DUTIES

Primarily, the Patient Counselor:

• Greets patients at their first appointments
• Explains what will happen at the first appointment
• Following a clinical consultation, talks patients through their scheduling options
• Explains treatment and aftercare steps to the patient
• Books surgery appointment dates

Secondly, the Patient Counselor will:

• Contact patients before appointments to maintain attendance rates
• Participate in patient seminars/webinars as required

Lastly, the Patient Counselor will:

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures
• Participate in company-wide events
• Observe patient confidentiality
